Paulo Faria, born in Andirá, PR. Studied Theology, Philosophy and Plastic Arts, entered in the Bank of Brazil in the decade of 70, where he worked until his retirement, arriving to General Manager's position. Early it demonstrates a select taste for the arts. After some incursions for the painting in screen and batik, he chooses the ceramic as his expression way, he took ceramic course in the School of Fine arts of São Paulo ended in 1977, batik course in ceramic with Alfredo Sensoterra in Buenos Aires, participated at a workshop of ceramic burns in the Center of Ceramic Arts of Montreal in 1984, recently he made a wokshop of Rakú with the ceramist and educational of the State University of Londrina, Profª. Maria Scherlovski. Now lives in Monte Mor - São Paulo, where he has its own studio.
